DWA have produced a number of pieces of work for programmes featuring the comedian Frankie Boyle. This began with the controversial Channel 4 series Tramadol Nights, for which Dave provided visual effects, graphics and animation, the latter category including George Michael's Highway Code, which mercilessly mocked the former Wham singer's well publicised night-time vehicular activities.
DWA also devised title sequences for two Zeppotron pilots featuring Mr Boyle. The first, Frankie Boyle's Rehabilitation Programme used the comedian's beloved comic book medium to satirise the various media controversies surrounding him. The second, Boyle Variety Performance, used FBRP's concept and visual style as a starting point, this time showing a giant Frankie terrorising the UK in a comic book journey from Scotland to London. Bill Elliott provided the majority of illustration work for both of these pilots.
